Travel guide of Turku CastleThis shot was taken in the medieval Turku Castle, Finland. A group of Chinese tourists suddenly stormed the entrance as I were taking a couple of shots of the courtyard. Interesting though, this made the shot much better, as they appear to be very ghost-like, thanks to a long exposure. The visitors now became the Castle Ghosts in my photo.

This picture was a result of an strive to the hilltop of Piikkiö, the countryside of Turku, Finland. The mosquitos really tested me during this photo shoot, but what can you do when you’re having that spot, right? My stepmom and I had a hike, and I just loved this view her checking the scenery. By the way, the forest industry is a major contributor to wellbeing in Finland. Let’s keep it that way in the future also.

This picture was taken on the road from the Finnish archipelago back home to Helsinki. Kustavi, the sunniest part of Finland, is an awesome spot to visit if you like cabinlife. This day the sky was filled with clouds and made the perfect circumstance for a shot on the road.

The Svartå Manor, also known as Svartå Castle (finnish: Mustion Linna) is built during 1783-1792. The old manor itself is nowadays a museum and the surrounding property has several smaller estates, including a restaurant, hotel, summer theater and of course, a sauna. I took this picture on my way form the city of Åbo to Helsinki. I made a small detour though, as I wanted to visit this location. When I saw this old gate, it was time to bring out the camera.

Vanity, statue by Antonio Bottinelli (1870) in the Mustio Manor park. Being photographed from the lake towards the trees and water plant giving some privacy for the statue, it creates a great contrast of classical art and the untamed nature.

Love padlocks can nowadays been found almost everywhere in the world, especially in Europe, where they originate from, according to the over 100 year old Serbian tale. Some municipals treat them as litter or vandalism, but many embrace them as they may attract visitors and tourists. This shot is taken in the small city of Tampere, 180km north of Helsinki, Finland. A longexposure shot taken during an evening in November.
